Bring your insurance card (if you have dental insurance), a photo ID, a list of any medications you're currently taking, and any prior dental records or X-rays from your previous office — though you can also have them emailed to us in advance. If you have specific concerns or questions, write them down beforehand so nothing gets forgotten in the moment. We'll send your new patient forms ahead of time so you can fill them out at home rather than in the waiting room. That's it — show up, and we take care of the rest.

Absolutely. We offer second-opinion consultations — limited exam, focused on the specific concern, no commitment to switch practices. Bring any X-rays, treatment plans, or proposed costs from the other office. We'll give you our honest take, explain whether we agree, and lay out alternatives if we see them. If you decide to make Q Dental your dental home afterwards, we'll do a full new patient exam at that point. If you go back to your other dentist, no hard feelings.
